Chip Shredder

The Chip Shredder manufactured by H.K.Machinery cuts these long, nested chips into desired small size reducing the volume of chips almost to one third.

Working

Long curly nested chips from machine are to be fed to the chip shredder, the unique cutter arrangement guides the chips to the center cutting them into desired size (shredded chips can be achieved as per once requirement).

Incase any foreign material or heavy chips balls enter the cutting area causing overload the unit has an facility of detecting such abnormality - stopping and reversing for two-three times clearing the jam, however incase the jam does not clear the unit stops giving signal (buzzer or flashing lamp). In this case the units needs to be attended and cleared manually. This is an unique online overload protection.

These units are custom built to suit the application and available space and can be used online or offline to process any ferrous and nonferrous chips.
